The South Dakota Cutting Horse Association (SDCHA) aims to promote, foster, and encourage the sport of cutting horse competitions within South Dakota and the surrounding region. As an affiliate of the National Cutting Horse Association (NCHA), the organization focuses on providing organized, fair, and accessible competitive opportunities for riders of all skill levels while celebrating Western heritage.

• Promoting Cutting: Increasing interest and participation in the sport of cutting throughout the region.

• Event Hosting: Organizing competitions, including the Black Hills Stock Show (BHSS) and various futurities.

• Member Support: Facilitating connections between riders, owners, and trainers, while encouraging youth participation.
